In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 shooter games on iOS in the Middle East demonstrated diverse performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends for these games.

PUBG MOBILE saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.3M in early April before declining to around $642K in mid-May. It bounced back to about $984K by the end of June. Weekly downloads started at around 60.2K at the end of March, dipped to approximately 35.1K in early May, and recovered to about 59.5K by the end of June. Active users varied, starting at 1.33M and ending the quarter with a significant increase to 1.62M.

Call of Duty®: Mobile experienced a decline in weekly revenue from around $183K at the end of March to roughly $73.6K in early May, with a slight recovery to approximately $104.7K by the end of June. Downloads showed an upward trend, beginning at 32.6K and reaching 38.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 450K throughout the period.

Free Fire: 7th Anniversary exhibited a decrease in weekly revenue, starting at around $38K and dropping to approximately $18.6K by mid-June, before climbing back to about $31.9K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 17K, peaking at 22.9K in mid-April, and ending the quarter at around 26.2K. Active users remained consistent, ending the quarter with an increase from 454K to 475K.

Undawn showed promising initial performance, with weekly revenue growing from approximately $20K in mid-June to about $75.8K by the end of June. Downloads started strong at 172.6K but declined to around 8.8K by the end of the month. Active users decreased from 135.3K to 57.4K over the same period.

Western Sniper: Wild West FPS had no recorded revenue during this period. However, its weekly downloads showed growth, starting at around 4.2K and peaking at approximately 20K in mid-June, before falling to about 7.1K by the end of June. Active users increased from 11.5K to a peak of 31.2K in mid-June, before settling at around 18.2K at the end of the quarter.
